As an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited clinic, we boast the latest diagnostic tools and adhere to the highest standards of diagnostic care.
Even when your pet is apparently feeling their best, diagnostic tools are helpful in ensuring your pet receives a complete examination as part of our preventative medicine program. Comprehensive Diagnostic Services
As an AAHA accredited animal hospital, we stay up to date with the latest technologies, standards, and practices in diagnosing your pet. We are equipped with the best tools available to help.
We offer the following diagnostic services:
- Laboratory testing
When used properly, all of the above services can provide insight into your pet’s health beyond a physical exam. For the times we need a closer look at their overall wellbeing, diagnostic services can help.
At Animal Healthcare Clinic of Southlake, our in-house laboratory can perform blood tests, urinalysis, and fecal checks on site. We can also send tests to outside labs to get a more comprehensive view of your pet's health.
Our laboratory testing is also used in the regular course of your pet’s routine wellness exams. We keep a record of your pet’s lab work to compare against future results, which helps us efficiently identify changes in their systemic health.
There are times when a physical exam doesn’t tell us everything we need to know about what’s going on inside your pet. If we suspect an internal problem, we may order an x-ray to get a look at your pet’s internal systems, such as their bones. The imaging process for x-rays is completely pain-free and non-invasive, which is a huge benefit for our diagnostic process. We can get a closer look at your pet’s insides without any extreme measures.
